South London-based artist Marged, originally from the Welsh capital, is carving out her own sonic space after an electrifying journey alongside Self Esteem. Performing on Jools Holland, Radio 1’s Live Lounge, and Glastonbury, she witnessed firsthand the transformative power of music on both artist and audience.

During this time, Marged delved deeply into vocal practice, a journey that culminated in her role as the voice practitioner for Alter, Altar by Jasleen Kaur, the Turner Prize 2025-winning project, uncovering the voice’s potential as a force for collective liberation. Her music is more than just sound—it’s an experience, a cathartic release that empowers listeners to embrace their resilience and strength.
