CONTEMPORARY JEWELLERY-MAKING WORKSHOP

Behind every object lies a conceptual content with which the wearer can identify or wishes to identify. Contemporary jewellery design offers the opportunity to express subtle inner emotions through experimental forms and unexpected material combinations.

During the workshop, participants will create jewellery using PET bottles, highlighting upcycling as a form of value creation while drawing attention to the creative potential of everyday materials.

The creative process offers an enjoyable and inspiring experience for participants of all ages.

Workshop leaders:

Kata Várszegi – fashion and accessory designer, costume designer, teacher of visual environmental culture

(Veszprém Visual Workshop / W.I.M.)

Szonja Dohnál – art historian, cultural manager

(House of Arts Veszprém)

CREATIVE PAINTING WORKSHOP

How does a painting emerge when paint is poured onto the surface and the flowing layers are guided only by masked areas of various shapes?

We will talk about colours and moods, then explore a light, playful painting technique that consciously invites chance into the creative process.

Playing with colours, painterly effects and rounded forms, we will discover popular beach-inspired motifs such as stripes, polka dots and wave patterns.

Workshop leader:

Ágota Környei – visual artist, museum educator

(House of Arts Veszprém, Veszprém Visual Workshop / W.I.M.)
