The Valley of Arts Celebrates Its 35th Anniversary Next Year – Special Programs and Secret Christmas Gifts Await!
Hungary’s largest multidisciplinary festival, the Valley of Arts, will welcome everyone for its 35th edition from July 24 to August 2, 2026. The festival lineup features both returning favorites and first-time performers at the Valley. Those who secure their spot early can look forward to extra Christmas gifts from the organizers.
For over three decades, Kapolcs, Taliándörögd, and Vigántpetend transform for 10 days into a vibrant cultural hub—a triangle that brings communities together, offering something for everyone, from the youngest to the oldest. In 2026, the festival will expand even further with never-before-seen productions celebrating this milestone anniversary.
Special Concerts for the Jubilee
For the 35th anniversary, a brand-new, never-before-seen musical project will debut: Valley Symphonic 35. Leading figures of Hungary’s pop and rock scene—Sena (Irie Maffia), Beck Zoli (30Y), Szendrői Csaba (Elefánt), Co Lee, Giorgio (Carson Coma), and Beton.Hofi—will perform on stage together with the Danubia Orchestra, presenting their songs in entirely new symphonic arrangements. This unique collaboration is one of the largest in the festival’s history and will be seen exclusively for the anniversary.
In 2026, the iconic Taliándörögd venue, the Klastrom, returns, hosting Vecsei H. Miklós, Takács Dorina (Дeva), and Balla Gergely (Platon Karataev) with their projected performance Hortus Conclusus, designed for church ruins. This unique show fuses music with visual storytelling in an extraordinary setting, promising a truly unforgettable experience.
Top Artists and Fresh Voices
The anniversary lineup features Hungary’s top musicians, fresh talents, and artists performing at the Valley for the first time. The 45-year-old KFT will appear for the first time, while one of Hungary’s most popular performers, Dzsúdló, will make their Valley debut on the closing day. Returning favorites include Zorán and Koncz Zsuzsa, who will grace the stage once again following her massive success this year.
Both young and older audiences will find favorites: Beton.Hofi returns with his greatest hits, Co Lee, one of the freshest voices in underground hip-hop, will perform with his live band, and Esti Kornél, celebrating their 20th anniversary next year, will not leave the Valley audience without a concert. Elefánt also returns to Kapolcs in 2026.
A Festival for All Arts
As always, the Valley is not just about music. Over 10 days, visual arts, theater, contemporary circus, literature, and film are all represented. Highlights include the Duda Éva Társulat’s Forgatag performance, featuring scenes from multiple breathtaking productions, and the Feledi Project collaborating with Kulka János in an adaptation of Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard.
The 25-year-old Hagyományok Háza will also present special programs for this double jubilee, encouraging active participation from the Valley community. In FényArt, the Klastrom’s light installation call continues to invite creative participants to make the iconic venue even more vibrant.
Tickets and Christmas Offers
Ticket sales have already started. Both 10-day and 5-day passes, including single and duo passes, are available at discounted prices this year. As part of the Christmas promotion, duo passes come with exclusive 35th Valley of Arts merchandise, including T-shirts, sweaters, or a mystery box filled with unique gifts not available elsewhere.
