At the Bátor Tábor craft program, creativity and various visual art techniques take center stage. Trained volunteers, known as Cimborák, guide campers through open-ended projects based on a chosen theme and technique, encouraging free expression and personal creativity. From this point on, the sky’s the limit—each child can create whatever inspires them.

The program follows a “challenge-by-choice” approach, emphasizing freedom of choice. For children undergoing long treatments, hospital stays, and medical procedures, this opportunity to make independent decisions is a healing and empowering experience. They can select from a range of tools and materials to create exactly what they wish.
