Hungary’s largest multidisciplinary arts festival will be held for the 35th time this summer. Between July 24 and August 2, Kapolcs, Taliándörögd and Vigántpetend will once again welcome visitors with an abundance of programs, and the lineup has just been expanded with new names.

Kapolcs’s largest venue, the Panoráma Stage, is now close to a full lineup and is ready to come alive again this summer. Parno Graszt, who had Taliándörögd dancing in huge numbers last year, will continue the celebration this time in Kapolcs, joined by Bohemian Betyars and Aurevoir. as well. Carson Coma will arrive with a new album, while Quimby—founded the same year as the festival—and Transylvania’s best-known band, Bagossy Brothers Company, will also perform on the main stage in Kapolcs.

Hip-hop fans will be drawn to the front rows by concerts from Belga and Punnany Massif. Blahalousiana returns to the festival, and Analog Balaton will appear in Kapolcs for the first time. As a one-off jubilee event, audiences will also be able to enjoy a special joint production: FolkKArcok – Hagyományok Háza 25 – Valley 35, a celebratory grand concert by Szalonna and Band and their guests, set on one of the most beautiful stages in the country.

With the addition of these performers to the already announced Kispál és a Borz, Elefánt, Dzsúdló, Beton Hofi. and Co Lee, the Panoráma Stage program is now almost complete—though the festival still has a few surprises in store.

Since the political transition, the Valley of Arts has been one of Hungary’s most important cultural events. In the jubilee year, Visa—one of the world’s leading digital payment service providers—once again joins the festival as a partner. Last year marked Visa’s first major cultural sponsorship in Hungary, supporting the Valley of Arts as an outstanding cultural event.

“After last year’s success, continuing our cooperation with the Valley of Arts was a natural decision. For us, the festival is not only a major cultural event but also a community space where tradition, innovation and creativity meet. Visa’s goal is to support initiatives that create value and connect people, and the Valley represents exactly that. We are happy to continue our joint work to bring even more experiences, opportunities and seamless digital payment solutions to visitors this year,” said Bence Sármay, Head of Visa Hungary, about the renewed partnership.

Surrounded by the stunning landscapes of the Balaton Uplands, the Valley of Arts offers top-quality productions at every turn. Taliándörögd’s largest venue, the Lőtér, will once again host outstanding performers in 2026, including Kolibri, Platon Karataev, Sisi, Deva, Péterfy Bori & Love Band and Csaknekedkislány. The dance floor will also host a jubilee celebration, as the 20-year-old Cimbaliband performs here.

The Valley of Arts atmosphere would not be complete without Kaláka and HOBO. These iconic figures of Hungarian popular music will once again be present at the festival’s 35th edition with their own courtyards and exciting programs. Other audience-favorite venues are also preparing intensively for this year’s festival.

In Vigántpetend, the offerings go far beyond these courtyards. The long-time favorite Poket Courtyard returns with a colorful selection of pocket books and programs. At this literature-and-theater-focused venue, visitors will encounter Máklikőr, Henri Gonzo, Csinszka and Saya Noé, among others. Performers will include the youngest music-theater company, Sicc Production; writer-musician Krisztián Grecsó; Komp Kollektíva; the Nagy Emma Quintet; Csinszka; Várhegyutca; and Tárkány Művek.

Vigántpetend’s largest venue, Cirque du Tókert, has already announced concerts by Zsuzsa Koncz, Zorán, Geszti and Budapest Bár. Sena (Irie Maffia), Zoli Beck (30Y), Csaba Szendrői (Elefánt), Co Lee, Giorgio Fekete (Carson Coma) and Beton Hofi. will take the stage together with the Danubia Orchestra to celebrate the festival’s milestone anniversary.

Beyond music, Hungary’s largest multidisciplinary festival offers countless additional programs. Previously announced companies such as Sicc, Delta and Orlai will be joined by Neptun Brigád, Táncolj Majom Produkció in collaboration with Szkéné Theatre, Improvizuál, Csányi Sándor Produkció and Art-Színtér.

The Valley of Arts also celebrates this year with the returning Cloister venue, brought to life every evening through light installations featuring unique works by artists from across the country. The monastery ruins will host several productions, including Hortus Conclusus, a site-specific projected performance created for ruined churches by Miklós Vecsei H., Dorina Takács (Deva) and Gergely Balla (Platon Karataev).

With its rich program lineup, breathtaking Balaton Uplands scenery and the unique community of “Valley-dwellers,” the festival offers plenty of reasons to get lost in this cultural whirlwind along the Kapolcs–Taliándörögd–Vigántpetend axis between July 24 and August 2.
