What is the Valley?

Three living villages.

Since 1989, performances and events have come to life in courtyards, church gardens, barns, and along stream banks. This year marks the festival's 35th edition.

Where should I write with a general question?+

Please send letters regarding general topics to the [email protected] e-mail address. We kindly ask you to make your request arriving at the central e-mail address identifiable in the SUBJECT field by naming the staff members listed above or the specific request. Unfortunately, we are unable to process unidentified emails. Replying may take several days due to the volume of incoming emails.

Where do you take lost and found items?+

During the festival and on the following Monday, lost and found items are collected at the Festival Office at 62 Kossuth Utca, Kapolcs. You can check lost property during the festival between 10:00 and 18:00, and on the Monday following the festival between 8:00 and 11:00. After the festival, meaning from Tuesday, August 4th to Thursday, October 1st, lost items can only be viewed and picked up in Budapest at Károly krt. 13-15, Bldg. B, 7th floor, Office 46, on weekdays between 10:00 and 15:00.

When and how can I apply as a performer?+

Applications for the 2026, 35th Valley of Arts Festival are accepted from September 2025 until December 1st at muveszetekvolgye.hu/forms. After December 1st, we are no longer able to accept performer applications; applicants will receive an automated rejection letter.

How can I become a volunteer?+

Applications for the 2026 festival open in May. You will be able to apply through the dedicated interface, which you will find on our social media pages and here as well. If you have any questions, we welcome your email at [email protected].
